These are the winning images for the Foto-Rhetoric August Challenge. The photographers did a wonderful job of meeting the challenge, submitting images that captured the editorial photojournalistic requirements imposed, and demonstrating the use of the mobile camera-phone (in particular the iPhone) as vital photojournalism tool.

Foto-Rhetoric is highly appreciative of these photographers efforts, and of their willingness to participate in the challenge. We are very impressed not just with the technical mastery of the images, but the inspiration, vision, and creative thinking in meeting the editorial challenge.
