iPhone App Review: Photo Editing Test Patterns

A couple of days ago I posted about what looked to be a useful app to test your favourite iPhone photo editing package. After trying out this tool, I have come to the conclusion that it is like so many other iPhone apps, pointless!!

This app is no more than a series of resized images with lines,curves, black, white and shades of grey, and so could have been made available as images to load to your iPhone and not another app. To use this app, you launch it and then save the chart/graph as an image and then open that image in your editor to test, and that's it!! What may have been useful, would have been a colour chart, so that you could apply corrections and test the effect of colours corrections.

For some this app may well prove useful, although I am not sure for who, but as it is free you have nothing to loose to try it out (if you find it useful, then please post your comments).
