Polarock (App Store link) the iPhone Polaroid app has just been updated to version 1.2. This new version fixes the problem of not being able to scribble long cations on the image, and now automatically resizes the text to fit. In addition to the bug fixes, there are 3 new styles, Center, Fade and Classic.

Classic is the filter that offers the best looking Polaroid effect, which whilst is significantly better than previous styles, for me is still not quite there. If the developer can tweak the classic filter to look more like the effect produced by Poladroid, then this app really will be the Polaroid iPhone app of choice.

All-in-all this is a worthy update, and if the classic filter can be improved a little bit more, then this app could well become the leader of the pack, and well worth the 59p price tag.
