Apple's iPhone the most popular Cameraphone on Flickr

Following a recent article on TUAW about the iPhone becoming one of the most popular camera's on Flickr, I decided to check out Flickr's stats for myself, and low and behold, they weren't wrong. Of course all of us who regularly use the iPhone's camera uploading images to either Flickr or another service already know how popular the iPhone is for taking snaps, but did you know that on Flickr it ranks 5th in the "Most Popular Cameras in the Flickr Community"

....and 1st in the "Most Popular Cameraphones in the Flickr Community", with the iPhone winning by a mile over its next nearest rival, the Nokia N95.

Further investigations reveals that iPhone users have uploaded 5,737,259 photo's to date, and yesterday (15th December 2008), 2,935 iPhone users uploaded 1 or more photo's, which is very impressive.
