iPhone App Preview: PolaTaste

Glyn Evans Tandem Systems, the developer of MonoTaste (review coming soon) and DoubleExp is currently working on a Polaroid iPhone app called PolaTaste. Like all of Tandem Systems apps, the interface for PolaTaste is very simple, with options to take a photo, open a photo from the camera roll, save photo and select effect.
To use this app, you have to select the effect you want first (which can be a bit confusing), and then take or open a photo for conversion. Like all the other Polaroid effect iPhone apps currently in the App Store, PolaTaste has the usual effects, which include Monochrome and Sepia effects, but with the Polaroid effects, the developer has chosen to name them after Polaroid camera models, the SX70 and the 600.

The results that this app produces, like early releases of Polarock, needs some improvement. However if the developer can tweak the filtration, then this could become a very popular app, as when your photo is having the Polaroid effect applied, the app produces the sound of a Polaroid camera as it ejects the photo, which is really cool, and could be a real party piece.
All-in-all this is a promising looking app, however I do have one question, and that is just how many Polaroid apps do we need?
PolaTaste,
