New iPhone Photo App: Photo Vault

Like iPrivateEye, Photo Vault priced at £1.19 ($1.99) is another app designed to keep you iPhone or iPod Touch photo's secure and private, however unlike iPrivateEye, Photo Vault allows you to create and manage your private photo's directly on your iPhone or iPod Touch itself, and does not rely on any external services or sources.

With Photo Vault you don’t have to worry about who uses your iPhone or iPod Touch, as you can always be sure your “private” photos stay private.

To use the application copy any picture or pictures from the regular photo library into Photo Vault's secure area, and thee delete from the regular photo library. Your Photo Vault pictures are now not accessible unless you enter the password that you set within the app. Photo Vault provides picture security by locking the image and hiding your photo's, thus giving you the photo protection and picture privacy you desire.

If you forget your Photo Vault password, to maintain security the password reset feature will erase all pictures from Photo Vault before enabling you to enter a new password, so don't forget you password, or your secure photo's will be lost.
