More Macworld news, Lensbaby and TiltShift

Glyn Evans Well Macworld 2009 has come to an end, and it is the end of an era for Apple as well as they will be no longer showing at Macworld, and in fact Macworld as an event is now under question, which is a real shame.
Anyway, as promised at the start of Macworld I said I would post items that I thought would of of interest, sadly there has been very little to report, although an item that did catch my eye was Lensbaby. Not directly connected with iPhone photography, Lensbaby have released the Composer, their latest SLR/DSLR soft focus lens, which is demonstrated below by Cali Lewis from geekbrief.tv
Although Lensbaby is a physical lens for SLR/DSLR cameras, iPhoneographers can achieve similar looking results with TiltShift, the iPhone app from Michael Krause. This app priced at £1.19 ($1.99) allows you to soften the focus of part of your photo, leaving the selected area sharp and in focus, just like Lensbaby, as the photo below shows.

Whilst this app is probably not an every day use app, it does give the iPhoneographer the ability to achieve similar results to that of the Lensbaby at a fraction of the cost.
