App Store Promo Codes Part 3

Yesterday Vint Shift (App Store Link) from app developer Erik Pettersson (www.vintiphone.com) became available on the App Store, and today I am pleased to be able to offer promo code for this app, with more promo codes from the Vint family of app in the coming week

I will be comparing this app later today with TiltShift, which produces similar effects.

This app is a total waste to me. it just does not work or even do what it is sold as. i paid for it & actually want my $0.99 back. Buy TiltShift it actually works & does what it says it does plus has multiple options. This is the worst app in the line of "vint" apps Erik has ever made.

My opinion but... I warned you =)

Like you I bought this app, as I am not from the US so the promo codes are no good for me. I have just completed my head to head review, which I will post tomorrow, with a comparison shot, but I have to agree that this app is disappointing, which is where promo codes come in to their own.

Hello,

Just in case you weren't aware of this since you have said you are outside of America.
A trick my Canadian friends do... that will allow you to use the US Promo Codes...

If you click on this Link for the US only app called Loopt or any other US only app that isn't available so far outside of the USA then it will open your iTunes and ask you if you want to change stores & will open the US App Store within your iTunes.

I say this link for my friends find it a common US only app as well as Pandora app.

Then when you are in the US app Store signup for a new account. Use a whole new email address etc. Then give them no payment info. For this account you make can be used only for FREE apps & also to Redeem the Promo Codes.

Then sign-in to that new account it will & redeem any Promo Codes You like it will download them into your apps. Then Sign-OUT & then sign back in with your Original iTunes account & it will swap you back to your original countries app store. Then Sync your iPhone & those new apps will be added to your iPhone. Then next time you want to Redeem a new Promo Code just sign-out & sign-in with your US account info & that alternate email you used only for this account & it will swap you over again. Remember whenever there is an update to an app that it will not alert you so keep an eye on it & then when in the US app store even when it shows a $$$ for the app if you click "Buy" it will then pop up & say this is a Free Update & will download for you. Then sign-out etc & Sync iPhone from your original account.

I hope this will help you use the Promo Codes.

I have a few friends, Developers & Beta Testers who have to do just that to get the apps they need.
