Air Photo - Price £1.19 ($1.99)
Printing to a HP printer attached to your Mac has been available for awhile now using HP's iPrint Photo, but what about those who don't own a Mac or HP printer? Well today Air Photo from Sudobility has been released, and allows both Windows and Mac users to print to any printer attached to their computer.
Print photos from your iPhone or iPod Touch, without syncing or emailing.
Simply run Air Photo, browse to the photos you like to print, and tap "Print".
Air Photo Server must be installed and running on the desktop computer.
- Download Air Photo Server for Windows: 32-bit Windows XP and Vista or 64-bit Windows Vista
- Download Air Photo Server for Mac OS X: 10.5 Leopard (PPC and Intel)
Ever showed your photos to your friends or families on your iPhone and they want a hard copy? You promise "I will send to you when I get home", but then you forget.
Instead of going through all the extra steps, for both you and the receiver, why not print from iPhone directly? With the help of Air Photo Server, all you need to do is to tap "Print", and the photo comes out of the printer, with the same quality as printed with your desktop printer.
It is simple and fast. It is even easier than printing from desktop.
Features:
- Auto-rotation. You don't need to configure whether you want to print landscape or portrait.
- Scaling options - crop or white space.
- Printer is configurable with Air Photo Server, with complete control.
- Simple and seamless interface.
- Auto connect if only one computer has Air Photo Server running. If multiple are running, choose which one to connect to.
Load up on the photo paper. You will need it.
I am one of the lucky people who has a Mac and a HP printer, so I have no need for this app, however if you do try out Air Photo, then please come back and post you comments on this app.
