Need to keep some of your photo private on your iPhone, well now you can with iPrivateEye (App Store Link). This app is priced at £1.19 ($1.99), however based on the developers information....
"To create an album, just zip the photos in a planar structure (that is with no folders) along with a album-name.txt file where you can write the displayed album name."
....this app relies on online storage, as your photos have to be uploaded to the iPrivateEye's website, and then viewed with the password you have set for the album.
For me this app seems over priced, and relies on an internet connection, limiting its usefulness.
UPDATE:
I was contacted by the developer, as I had posted above "this app relies on online storage, as your photos have to be uploaded to the iPrivateEye's website, and then viewed with the password you have set for the album." This is incorrect, and in actual fact you can either upload your photo's to ANY web server, or make them available directly from your Mac by setting up and using web sharing. Once you have uploaded or shared you private photo album, you then access it and download to your iPhone or iPod Touch. Once you have done this you will have your secure photo album loaded to your iPhone or iPod Touch for viewing away from from your network or internet connection.
I apologise for any confusion caused by this article, but although I report on as many apps as possible, I am unable to test all of them, and occasionally I do make mistakes.

Hi! I'm the author of this app. Just wanted to clarify one thing. It does NOT rely on online storage. It downloads the albums you create, true, but you can download them directly from your mac by using web sharing. More details here: http://sw.dev6.com/iprivateeye/
Filipe, thank you for contacting me and correcting the mistake I made in this post.
