Hello all,
I decided to purchase this app because of the one day sale, and I wanted to share my observations. To be honest, I would not have purchased it at it's 2.99 US prIce because I did not think the operation of a tilt zoom would be benefical. I was correct in my assumption. Although it sounds interesting, it forces you to take a picture with the phone in a level position. If you tilt the phone in any direction, the zoom changes either in or out. You cannot compose pictures at say a 45 degree angle, which limits what you can do creatively. There is no image stabilization, and zoomed images are saved at their reduced cropped resolution. The flash effect is barely perceptable and not very effective. The 10 second timer is not adjustable. Compare this app to a free alternative, Camera Plus, which also has a unique zooming method. It use a touch zoom that is not affected by the tilt of the phone and has a very effective flash option. I just do not see enough benefit in this app to be able to recommend it's purchase, even at the sale price of .99 US.
@Ed. Thanks for the feedback, which I am sure many of us have found very useful
OH MY…I can’t wait. Hopefully this phone comes out soon, cause I am getting sick n tired of my old HTC Hero which will probably never get updated .
