Glyn Evans Roc Herms Pont sounds German, but it is Catalan. 3 monosyllables and three vowels is all he need as presentation. Born of the hands of the Spanish constitution (1978) he late discovers the world of photography, when this becomes, thanks to digital cameras, in the more mainstream form of artistic expression. Like everyone buys its digital compact, travels and performs his tourist photos. He starts realizing that he's happy with the results, he even thinks he's good at. Leaving her job as art director at an advertising agency (DDB Barcelona), he embarks on advertising photography and their personal projects, close to photojournalism.
It is said that the best camera is the one you always carry with you and, ever since I have an iPhone in my pocket, I can testify that. Without even noticing it, the telephone is becoming one of the cameras I use the most. iPhone is not only able to take snapshots discreetly but it also spreads them immediately through the Internet. Applications such as CameraBag make it possible to turn the poor quality of the images into something similar to the old Polaroids or Lomography. The photographical broadcasting my everyday life, in an easy and direct way, was never so easy. If you want to follow this kind of photography diary, just add me to Twitter and/or Twitpic.

If you want to see more of Roc's work, then check out his iPholaroids website.
If you would like to showcase your iPhone photos here on the iPhoneography blog, then send me an email and I'll reply with details on how to submit.

What iPhone application was used for the polaroid-style photos above?
I have Camerabag but there is no option for photos in rectangular mode.
Hi Massimo,
My paid CameraBag make rectangular frames with the instant filter for me. My square frames come from the lite version. Maybe we do have different versions of the application.
I did find that the white color of the frame from the lite and the paid versions are diferent, and that's a mess.
I did find the answer at Camerabag webpage.
"Each filter has a default border and cropping, but you can turn these settings on and off from within the Options dialoge (tap the small "i")."
You just have to uncheck the "Use cropping" button at the options dialoge to get rectangular frames.
Roc... m'encanta el teu estil... em passaré per la web per veure més del teu treball.
Fel.licitats d'un altre iPhonoegrapher des de Nova York. Una abraçada.
I tried to use my CameraBag, by using 'instant filter' + uncheck the 'Use cropping' but I still don't get the rectangular frame — very frustrated.
I also checked for the Camerabg lite version but doesn't exist or I cannot find it.
I really like + prefer the rectangular frame... sob.
