The iPhoneography Showcase of Moudy Elkammash

Glyn Evans Using my iPhone to take pictures is a way for me keep photography feeling new and exciting. In my other photo work (www.elkammash.com) I focus much more on single large scale images. As a result I spend much of my time constructing images rather than taking them. But iPhoneography offers me great creative outlet that I can easily do everyday. It has also become a great way to keep notes on images that I may want to take with my other camera, especially because of geo-location. One of my favorite aspects of iPhoneography is that since it's such a small device you can get really candid shots that wouldn't always be possible if you where visibly holding a camera. I also appreciate how simple the process is (except for all the various apps) ...I have found myself focusing much more on just composition and light... back to the basics in a whole new way.
If you would like to showcase your iPhone photos here on the iPhoneography blog, then send me an email and I'll reply with details on how to submit.
