Glyn Evans After posting today about the changes the developer of Videomatic implemented following the comments and feedback on this site, I have been contacted again as the app have undergone more changes.
This time I am assured the changes are final, so below is the apps new and final description.
New AppStore Description: Videomatic lets you add effects, sounds, and music to videos on your iPhone 3GS. You can make any video funny, scary, or just plain weird!
This free version of the app lets you create as many movies as you want with 12 sounds and 12 music loops.
Then, when you want to, you can upgrade to Videomatic Pro to get 100+ sounds, more music, and the following effects:
- Normal Speed - Plays the movie at normal speed.
- Slow Motion - Slows movies down.
- Fast Forward - Speeds em up, and makes everyone sound ridiculous!
- Reverse - Plays the video backwards.
- Silent Film - Speeds up the video and puts it into black and white.
- Horror Film - Slows down the video and puts it in black and white with scary music.
You can add sounds by just tapping on your screen as the video plays!
Any movie you make you can also share with your friends.

Thanks for the update, Glyn. I found even with the previous changes, users were still frustrated at having to purchase each effect, individually. Now, it's a "lite" vs. "pro" app, with a single in-app purchase to unlock everything. Sorry for the confusion -- I hope this clarifies things and I look forward to hearing any other feedback users have about the app. Thanks!
