Description from the AppStore: VideoSlides lets any iPhone record videos by syncing a recorded audio track with multiple images from the camera in real time!
Now any iPhone can create videos (not just the 3GS) to share with your friends via Email, Facebook, Twitter and more.
This application can only capture about one picture every 1-2 seconds on maximum settings. While not exactly a video camera it does create some very nice videos or what we like to call 'Video Slides' - a great way to think of this app is like a voice recorder with pictures that are matched to the recorded sound. It works very well for:
- Presentations
- Instructional Videos
- Family Get-together
- Real estate walk through
- Video Mail
- Parties
- And tons of other things - well basically anything you would want to record a video of (except for maybe a rabbit running past, but it would work well for the turtle)
Once you have recorded your video you can share to:
- YouTube
- Twitter (via 12Seconds)
- Vimeo
- Your Camera Roll (sync to iPhotos)
VideoSlides lets you make picture videos in three modes: Timer, Manual and Accelerometer
- Timer (or Automatic) Mode will take a picture every x number of seconds. Set the timer from 2 to 20 second.
- Manual Mode will take a picture every time you tap the screen.
- Accelerometer Mode will take a picture every time the camera is held still. You can adjust the level of "stillness" sensitivity
Record anywhere from 30 seconds to 20 minutes of video depending on the adjustable image capture rate.
** LIMITATIONS **
This application uses official OS 3.1 APIs to capture images from the camera at a maximum rate of about 1 image every 1.5-2 seconds. Therefore, videos created with VideoSlides cannot record fast actions such as sporting events. Maximum Recording Length: Depending on the number of images you capture, the maximum video length right now is about 15-20 minutes. We are working on extending this length and will update the app shortly.

Editors comments: This looks like a really cool app for all iPhone owners.

PhotoPlay - Record video camera slideshows
I'm not sure what is going on here, but developer Laan Labs seems to have released the same app under 2 different names, so the choice is yours, PhotoPlay [AppStore Link] or VideoSlides [AppStore Link]

Yeah 2 releases from one development company but one is released as an individual release not a company project. Odd but true =)
