New iPhone Photo App: iNoculars

Description from the AppStore: Taking the innovations of the iPhone one step further, iNoculars is a high tech app that turns your iPhone into a spy camera & binoculars.

It's the sort of super cool gadget you'd expect to see James Bond using.

Your iPhone is now a pair of high powered Binoculars with detailed HUD readouts that include your actual GPS coordinates, angle of pitch and roll, as well as your zoom degree and more.

That's not all. Twinned with a camera function, you can now take a picture of your zoomed target that includes the HUD readings so that you'll never forget where that secret evil mastermind head quarters was located.

We know all the guys down at MI6 will be downloading this app as soon as possible, and it may well put Q out of a job!

Download this app and turn your iPhone into the most high-tech binocular gadget on earth!

AppStore Link: iNoculars - Price £1.19/$1.99

Editors comments: I don't understand the point of this app, but as it is unusual, I thought I would post about the release of it.

I'm guessing that it's purpose is "fun" ;)

It tickles my gadget nerve, but the practical use I agree with you is not that obvious...

I've gotta disagree - the practical side of this app is in the storing of the GPS data on images taken with it. It's fun, that's for sure, but it's also useful.
