Description from the AppStore: Use one iPhone to control the another to take photos. (iPhone 3G and 3GS, running OS 3.0 or later required)
It uses P2P bluetooth connection of iPhone OS 3.1. No internet (cell or Wifi) connection is needed.
Act either as a camera which is remotely controlled, or as the remote with full preview.
Ideal usages:
- Self portrait
- Photo of hard-to-reach places. (for example, a photo of the underbelly of your car)
- Photo from awkward angles. (for example, macro photos of flowers and bugs on the ground)
- Street photos without attention.
A free remote-only app coming soon, so you can use iPod Touch 2G to control the camera.
AppStore Link: Remote Camera - Price £1.79/$2.99
Editors comments: This looks like an interesting app, although maybe a little on the pricey side.

I tried this app using a 3GS and a 3G and although it works well I was not able to get a preiview on the 3G or 3GS when using as a remote, set up was easy and apart from not bieing able to preview works...I will play with it more to see if its me or the hardware,I can see this bieing usefull under certain situations
Remote Cam by Pick Season seems to do the same while free...
