The iPhoneography Showcase of Pepper Beaumont

Glyn Evans Recently I was at a bookstore perusing photography magazines when I came across an article about iPhoneography. It didn’t take a brain surgeon to realize that this meant “photos taken with an iPhone.” I was intrigued. Not knowing that this had become such a big thing, I read on. I was skeptical that anyone would be able to produce a picture worthy of printing in a magazine with just a camera phone. I was wrong. Very wrong.
Once I got home I scoured the internet and found that there were people all over the world taking pictures with merely their iPhones. Beautiful pictures. Mesmerizing pictures. Haunting pictures. I was hooked.
Usually I shoot with a DSLR, but I always hate lugging it and all my lenses everywhere and often don’t, which means I miss out on many opportunities. Now I can just whip my phone right out of my purse and never have to miss another photographable moment.
