Christmas has come early for some of us
Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 9:06AM | Glyn Evans If like me you have been waiting for the updated version of CameraBag [AppStore Link] that supports full resolution on the iPhone 3GS, and/or the bug fix update to Hipstamatic [AppStore Link], then your wait is over as today sees both these app updates in the AppStore (although you may have to download Hipstamatic again, as there seems to be a problem getting the update via the normal method).
In addition to these 2 apps, lo-mob [AppStore Link] also gets updated with fixes and extra features, but like Hipstamatic it may not shoe up as an update.

I confirm, I had to delete the app and reinstall it again in order to get version 1.10

@KoalazyMonkey. No when you buy an app, you are currently able to re-download it as many times as you need.
Yes, I had to do the same to get the updated version. Also, Lo-Mob and Hipstamatic updated too. Had to re-download those also. It was an early Christmas for sure. Have a great one everyone.
Has anyone had any luck buying the new Shibuza Hipstapak? Every time I try to buy it I get an error message saying "Payment Error - Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
Any thoughts?
Is your phone jailbroken? I'm getting the same problem.
Stock 3GS and I get the same error, its an issue with the app or iTunes I guess.
The in-app error I am thinking is an error within iTunes & the AppStore. It must not have been added or approved at the same time as the Update thus the error we receive upon trying to purchase. No worries... We had a stable updated version with extra goodies & new settings as it is in v110... So waiting a bit for the extras is just fine... Enjoy the Holidays !!!

I just got everything but the lo-mob. I am at work and deleted the program when I went to installl it again it said i needed wi-fi. I forgot it needed it so now I am stuck waiting till I got home. I was super excited about that one. Warning to others dont forget about needing wi-fi to download lo-mob so don't delete it if you cant find wi-fi to update ;)
Oh the hipstamatic pack will not download for me either. There is only one that that would make that app perfect would be the ability to import images from your camera roll. Being a photographer I am pretty selective about my images even the ones that have that fake off the cuff look I too try to frame and shoot in a very particular manner. By the time I have gotten hipstamatic up and running and everything customized to take the photograph the way I want the moment has usually passed. For that reason alone I find that it is not good as good as some of the other photo apps out there. I use it less because of it. It has produced two images so far that I have been very pleased with. If I could run some of my images through the camera and apply the frame, lens, and flash and I would be very happy. I understand they have a concept of making it like a toy camera but really if you want to make it so people can use your app to make images with your brand as much as possible they would open it up to access the camera roll.
I was thinking of buying the new CameraBag Desktop for Windows. The site says you can use the promo code 'HOLIDAYS' for 20% off the price, but when you enter the promo code in the space on their 'store' section (after you click 'buy now'), it doesn't work :(
