The iPhoneography Showcase of Chris Lyzcen

Glyn Evans My name is Chris Lyzcen and I live in New Jersey but work in New York. I am a 27 year old freelance interactive art director but also have a love for photography. I never leave the house without my iPhone as most freelancers don't. Working in NYC there are always great opportunities to snap random pictures of things that can later inspire me. But I am always snapping pictures around friends and family too. After discovering this site it opened my eyes to just how many others are snapping pictures with their iPhones as another form of art. It also showed me just how many new and fun apps there are to manipulate the photos on the go. I almost never upload a photo before I have fun with it in one if not several apps on my iPhone. The low quality of the 3G camera with the effects used on the apps remind me of when I used to process and print film. It gives it a great analog feeling. Although I love my DSLR, point and shoot digital, and film cameras, I love the fact that my iPhone is always in my pocket ready to go. Before getting off the train in the city I usually turn the camera app on before I start my walk because you never know what you may see.
