Make your Christmas a very Noël one

I'm not a lover of photo apps that add that Christmasy feel, as most are cheesy adding silly santa hats etc. you your snaps, however 2 have just grabbed my attention.

The first app is a freebie from developer More-Thing called MoreNoel, and adds a subtle Christmasy effect to your photos.

Description from the AppStore: What’s moreNoël? moreNoël is the first iPhone camera application designed by more- thing. It allows the user to enhance their photos using two special filter effects - Night Glare and Star Effect to create dazzling and spectacular photos in just one single click! Just that easy! It’s simply a great tool for anyone who wants to have fun and creative photos anytime, anywhere!

Come and share moreNoël with your friends and families this Christmas and feel the magic!

Night Glare Effect

Too boring? Simply apply this special filter on photos capture on your iPhone 3G/3GS and you’ll see the magic instantly! The Night Glare filter applys colored bubbles (glare effct) on your photo to give a soft and “dreamy” look! Ideal for portrait, night scene, close-up and food etc. Three adjustment levels are available for your desired effect.

  • iPhone 3G/3GS compatible

Three adjustment levels are available for your desired effect.

  • Auto light adjustment with glowing star effect
  • iPhone 3G/3GS compatible

  • A virtual Photoshop on-the-go!

You have a choice of 3 different strengths of these effects, and then when you have selected, applied and are happy with the result, simply save and you're done.

So what do I think of MoreNoel?

It may not produce hi-res photos, but this is a nice simple app that adds some very nice and subtle Christmasy effects you your iPhone photos, and all I can say is "get it, I guarantee you'll use it".

I agree 100% I got this the day it was released a few weeks ago. It truly is an interesting app adding some great enhancing effects to just the right photo. While I hope a full res version is in a future update. It certainly is acceptable as a start... Oh & did we mention it's FREE... Just get it!

Also for others interested be on the lookout for they have another app coming out any day...
"MoreLomo" & it's stated as being FREE as well.

The effect is done nicely. Love it, but... is anyone having issues when using the app to capture an image?
