Light for iPhone promo code

If you missed out on the Tiffen Photo fx promo challenge, then you now have a chance to get 1 of 3 promo codes for "Light". From Digital Film Tools, the people behind the excellant Photo fx app from Tiffen, Light emulates gobos from the Gamproducts collection.

Gobos, or patterns, are widely used by lighting designers in theatre, film, photography and television to create atmosphere, project scenery, and generally enhance the visual impact of their lighting. Normally used in front of lights during photography, these same exact patterns can be applied digitally to the entire image or inside a selected area. Gobos from the Gamproducts collection are included with Light and are arranged into the following categories: Breakups, Foliage, Lights, Sky and Windows.

FEATURES:

  • Control light brightness, blurring, and displacement for light wrapping effects
  • Adjust light position, rotation and size with on-screen controls
  • Isolate light using the selection screen
  • Position slider determines where to put the light
  • Range slider selects the amount of light
  • Lum (Luminance), Hue, or Sat (Saturation) buttons change the selection method
  • Shake on the Gobo screens to choose a random gobo
  • Shake on the image editing screen to reset controls
  • Edit in portrait or landscape mode

So how do you get you hands on one of these promo codes, well I'm not going to ask you to complete any challenges, simply make your request in the comments section, and I will pick 3 lucky names out of a hat, it's that simple.

Oh, one last thing, this promo code offer will end at 6.00pm GMT (18:00) on Sunday 8th February, and as with all promo's you will need a valid US iTunes account to redeem your code, and just in case this is the first time you've tried to get a promo code from me, you need to write your request in the comments section below, not forgetting to include your email address in the required field when commenting, else I can't send you the code.

You can get Light from the App Store now for £1.19 ($1.99)

UPDATE: The promo codes have now been emailed out to the lucky winners, but for those who missed out I will have some more limited promo codes on offer again very soon.

I just watched the video and I must say this app looks very promising. I could see myself using it a lot!

Matthew, no Light is not like iFlash Ready, iFlash Ready emulates a flash by lightening the photo, whereas Light adds gobo lighting effects. Let me know if you want your name in the hat for this one.

Yes of course Glyn I'd love to be apart of this giveaway. Sorry for not making that clear before. :D
