Bring the brightness back with iFlashReady

Thanks to Brandon Lee I got switched on to iFlashReady whilst writing my review on HDR Camera. iFlashReady is a simple but effect app that lightens photo's taken on the iPhone, bringing light back in to dull areas of a photo. This app will not bring back what is not there, but it will brighten and enhance low light and areas of shadow in your iPhone photo's, and even on photo's that appear to be correctly exposed iFlashReady can enhance and improve the result.

The App

Launch the app and straight away you are prompted to select a photo from your iPhone's photo album, which is then loaded in to the app and displayed with the medium effect applied.

The apps interface couldn't be simpler, with two buttons across the top of the screen, Albums which takes you to the iPhone's photo album and Save which you've guessed it saves your final photo....

....and across the bottom you have

  • Original - this allows you to revert back to your photo's original look at any time.
  • Low - his applies a lowest brightness effect.
  • Meduim - this applies a medium brightness effect.
  • High - his applies a maximum brightness effect.

Having loaded a photo in to the app, simply select one of these brightness effects and save, it's as simple as that.

Above: Without iFlashReadyAbove: With iFlashReadySo what do I think of this app?

iFlashReady is a quick, simple and effective app that can be used to enhance any photo, whether it appears to be under exposed or not. Priced at just £0.59 ($.99) I think this app should be part of every iPhoneographers app screen.
