Merge two photo's with Juxtaposer

Glyn Evans Juxtaposer from Hendrik Kueck, the man behind the excellent ColorSplash, is a clever little app that lets you merge 2 photo's together.
I am not going to go too in depth with this app, as its interface is very similar to that of ColorSplash, with its Pan & Zoom and the use of your finger to Erase (not paint) parts of one photo to reveal the other.
Like ColorSplash this app is very easy to use, and can create some interesting results, from placing a cats head on a dogs body, to placing yourself in a picture where you hadn't been, as my sample photo below shows.

- Unlimited undo means no mistake or accidental brushstroke is permanent.
- Save directly to your photo album.
- Save multiple sessions and return to them later.
- Save top image cutouts as 'stamps' and use them in future projects.
- Use hard or soft brushes to create sharp or blurred edges.
- Create smooth blends between images with transparent brushes.
- Keep adding elements from other pictures to your composite image if you like.
- Red mask mode (second screen shot) lets you accurately isolate part of one image without being distracted by the second image in the background.
- Translucent mode makes it easy to align your images precisely.
- The stamp tool lets you add multiple copies of your cut-out to your composite.
- Work in portrait or landscape orientation; optionally have images auto-rotate.
- Switch to and from full-screen with the tap of a finger.
- Double-tap to quickly switch between erase and un-erase functions.
- Flip the top image.
- Set advanced settings in the Settings application.
Overall this is a fun app, but if you're unsure about Juxtaposer, then go and grab yourself the FREE lite version, which is what I did to write this post, however I will be grabbing myself the full version as it is a much more flexible app, allowing you yo do things like use a soft edge so that the merged photo's are not so harsh.
Juxtaposer Lite features:
- Erase (or un-erase) parts of the top image by drawing on the screen with your finger. Using two fingers you can quickly zoom in to work on details with pixel-accuracy.
- Juxtaposer Lite's multi-touch user interface is incredibly intuitive and responsive. Give it a try and see for yourself!
- The lite version is fully functional and lets you save your creations to your photo album. It is however operating at a lower image resolution and lacks the many additional features present in the full Juxtaposer app.
