Bring the icons back, yes or no?

Blog reader thescw posted a comment in my last "New iPhone Photo Apps" post regarding the lack of app icons, saying "Disliking the lack of an icon in these but that is just me".

I dropped the icons due to the amount of crap apps appearing on a daily basis, and to speed up the posting process, but what you may have noticed, is that I now add a full post on what I think are the more noteworthy apps, along with either the app icon or screen shot.

Well that was my reason for dropping the icons out of the way, but what do you the readers think? do you want the app icons back?

Please post yes, no or don't care in the comments box.

My reasoning for wanting the icons is I read the info visually & not by title so if I don't see the icons etc I don't read the additional text info. That being said many of the icons are eye catching & appealing to most who view them & as well we know an app best on our iPhone by just that the apps icon.

Thanks

No. It's better this way.

Yes

A well considered icon usually implies a well considered application. As a creative I always judge a book by its cover - even if I shouldn't. There are apps that I purposefully don't use because they have weak icons. There's no excuse.

Yes, or a screenshot, possibly uploaded by readers of autor of the app!

Yes, if it is not too much trouble, as the icons break up the monotony of the text
I visit your site daily, and searching for a specific program listing is faster if I have a visual reference.
Thanks
