I bought GPS Photorino and I like it but .....the saved photo's look great on iPhone itself and on Mac ofcourse after synchronising. When e-mailing the saved picture directly from iPhone the resolution is changed by iPhone Mail and the picture looks terrible.
I contacted Imagebakery but got no reply yet!
Read your website every day and I like it.
Hi William, thanks for the feedback, and it would appear that both GPS Photorino and GPS MapCard suffer this same problem. I will email the developers and post their response when I publish my review.
Hi Glyn,
I hope they will answer your e-mail!!! Mine (I send two e-mails) never got answered. I bought GPS MapCard and GPS Photorino and they both have the same 'problem'.
Hi William
I've had no reply so far, but both app reviews app scheduled, so hopefully they will reply before they go live.
I think the blurry issue is more to do with the iPhone email app, as the problem is not present in 3rd party email apps. That said this is a known issue with some apps, and as far as I know is fixable.
Just gonna throw a little trick out incase your unaware. If you go to your camera roll and select a photo, hold your finger over it till copy shows up. Select copy then go to your mail, compose an email and in the text area hold till paste shows up. The iPhone reduces the photo size and quality when you select to email it but if you copy and paste the photo it will be unchanged from the original. Hope this helps.
