PURE CARBON is an innovative app that produces black and white photos in real time and boasts the following features:
- perfectly simulates the effect of colored filters on black-and-white film.
- tint the B&W result in any color, within reasonable limits.
- change exposure, contrast/brightness.
- within seconds, turn a color-photo into a beautiful black-and-white or monochromatic artwork.
- add vignetting and save in full resolution.
All this is done in real-time by placing your finger anywhere on the screen and dragging it around, as the video below shows.

This looks very nice. I like the ability to apply color filters to the B&W processing. Thanks for the info Glyn
it is a great app... I beta tested this & it is honestly a wonderful & well made app with excellent results!
Anyone know if it is possible to treat the grain of the photo? If not this App, what could you suggest?
