iPhone App Review: myPhotoEgg

Glyn Evans myPhotoEgg has been around for a little while now, and offers a new way to view your iPhone photos.
The app itself is an interesting concept, but sadly as the video below shows is tedious to use, as each photo has to be added to your photo egg individually.
The concept is straight forward, and as the video shows, you launch the app, create an egg, name it, and then add your photos, and when complete you can spin the egg and tap on a photo to bring it to the front. This all sounds nice, but it doesn't take long for the appeal of this app to disappear, as you slowly add each photo to the egg.
As I have said, conceptually this is a nice idea, and if you could bulk add photos to the egg, would offer a unique way to show off your photos, but as it currently stands it needs a lot more development.

You're right, adding photo using the iPhone ImagePicker control is very long. Unfortunately this is the only way allowed by apple. In a first version I added the photos by scanning the photo folder, the app had been rejected by apple which considered that as hacking. I requested to apple a SDK enhancement to fix that weak and I hope this will be done asap.
