The iPhoneography "May Photo Shoot-out", sponsored by the Griffin Technology Clarifi

Following on from The iPhoneography photo competition, sponsored by the Griffin Technology Clarifi, which had an Easter theme, I am please to announce a new photo competition for the whole of May called the "May Photo Shoot-out".

The rules are similar as the last competition (see below), but the theme and how you enter has changed. This new photo competition is again sponsored by Griffin Technology, but the good news for those who did not like the last theme based photo competition, is this one is completely open. In addition to the competition being completely open, there is also no limit to the number of entries you make, but you will need to upload your entries to the iPhoneography Flickr pool.

So now you know the theme and how to enter, but what about the prize you ask? Well because I did not award all 5 of the Griffin Clarifi iPhone 3G cases for the last competition, there are 3 remaining, so the top 3 iPhoneographers will win 1x Griffin Technology Clarifi iPhone 3G case.

So, just to reiterate, there are 3x Griffin Technology Clarifi iPhone 3G case up for grabs, there is no theme for the competition, so you can take and submit what ever you like as long as it has been taken with your iPhone, and there is no limit to the number of entries you make.

Competition rules:

  1. All entries must be received before 8.00 am GMT on Monday 1st June 2009.
  2. All photo's must be taken with the iPhone's camera, edited exclusively on the iPhone using any 3rd party app, and finally uploaded to the iPhoneography Flickr pool via your iPhone and tagged "CLARIFI".
  3. Entrants must not be employees of Griffin Technology or be close friends or family of me (Glyn Evans).
  4. All entries will be judged by me (Glyn Evans) and my judgement will remain final.
  5. The 3 winners will announced shortly after the close date, and winning photo's will be published on the iPhoneography blog.
  6. The Griffin Technology Clarifi is only compatable with the iPhone 3G, so if you are a winner, and using a 1st Gen iPhone, then you may be offered an alternative prize, but this is subject to availability of an alternative product.

Hi Glyn -
Do you have an criteria you will use to judge the photos?

Also, have you thought about having categories - like best photo with no editing, best photo using multiple applications, best still, best action, .... That would be fun.

Thanks

photoapphaystack, I did think about having categories, but whilst it will make my life harder choosing winners, I wanted to encourage more people to enter.
