LOMO is an iPhone camera application designed for simulating the world wide famous LOMO Camera such likes LC-A.
Have you ever heard of the LOMO LC-A camera? It's a world-wide phenomenon and there's a very proactive organization — the Lomographic Society promoting the use of this 'cheap' little camera developed in the old Soviet Union.
Now this application can simulate the effects include:
- LC-A original Camera
- Redscale Film

I think I am going to regret downloading this one. The website for this on is very dodgy. Only has one page. When you click on the product tab it take you to a page that says products do not exist. Don't like this.
Greg
I hadn't spotted that their website was just a template and that had no relevant content. Have you purchased the app? if so are you having any problems with it?
I did buy it and I have taken a few pictures with it and it has not crashed the camera or phone at this point. Though I am not quite sure that it is worth 2.99. Maybe .99. The fact that they put a link for support that does not exist or a web site that does not exist is a tad bothersome. I don't mind paying for an app if there is somebody that cares behind it. Well, you live and learn. But I did download Mill colour and it seem pretty interesting. Gives a lot more than Lomo. But Mill colours link for support leads you to mail addresses and phone numbers. Thats it.
@greg,
LOMO: yes it is a bit odd that the developer has not done anything with his site BUT that is the developers website just quite useless. If you look at his other apps (IQ Test) you can get more contact info.
Mill Colour: I don't know what you are talking about from day one the Mill Colour support link has always had 2 contact/support email addresses yet the 2nd one is the only working one.
Common sense would also say to look further & visit the direct site & look at that contact page as well.
Just my opinion but many times you have to search for the things you want to find. Yes they should be straight forward BUT many apps are by developers out of the bedroom & so not always setup with easily found contact info.
But what is worse is having all the correct contact info & having developers ignore your email.
=)
As for LOMO it lacks the option to use your own photos from the camera roll/library. It is a MUST have option to be able to have both iPhone camera & use your own photos in any camera app !!!
@scw -Thanks for the input. I do realize that tons of apps are created by so called normal people and not big companies and I should have taken that into account. And your criticism about Lomo is correct. It does have a bit to improve on and hopefully it will. It is way overpriced at 2.99.
I agree 0.99 cents is a worthy price for LOMO once it at least adds the option to use both the camera & your own photos from the camera roll. The filter results so far are nice & it saves the taken photo at 1200x1600 (perfect) so as well it better have a settings option to save the photos you use of your own at sizes you want.
Non of that 320x480 type of crap that far toooooo many apps use.
Just an update but am I the only one who is in love with the LOMO 1.3 updates ???
This app is AWESOME the new additions in the update make this app !!!
- Fisheye
- Redscale 2
- Splitzer
- X-Pro
Saves to full 3GS resolution !
If you love CameraBag, ToyCamera, OldCamera etc... LOMO Camera is a worthy addition In My Opinion =)

@ SCW. I'm on the fence with this one. If the price was lower, say £0.59/$.99 then I would give it a go, but £1.79/$2.99 seems a little steep to me, but I may be tempted.
I will agree the price should be no more than $1.99 max
I love the updates to this app. For the price there should be lots of updates. It is still amazing to see that this developer has no web site or support page still.
