Glyn Evans Well my last post covered the iPhone 3.0 OS upgrade that whilst offers a great deal of new features to existing iPhone owners, offers nothing new to us iPhoneographers.
This is a very brief post covering what the iPhone 3G S will bring to iPhoneography.
Firstly the iPhone 3G S has an improved 3.0 megapixel camera, then there's the addition of auto white balance and improved low light photography, but the biggest and best feature for me anyway is the selective autofocus camera with macro facility.
In addition to the improved camera features, the iPhone 3G S now brings a new dimension to the world of digital imagery, and that is video recording and editing. The iPhone 3G S now not only allows you to capture events has they happen, but also lets you edit the footage right on the iPhone and share via email, MMS, MobileMe or YouTube.
This new and exciting dimension to the iPhone will attract a whole new bread of iPhoneographers called iVideographers, and a side of the iPhone that the iPhoneography blog will be welcoming. embracing and covering all under the one banner.
