iPhone OS 3.0 upgrade warning!!

On the eve of the availability of version 3.0 of the iPhone OS I am writing this post to warn users that some photo apps may no longer work after the upgrade.
This is an ongoing issue for a large number of developers that have used an undocumented API in their app. This is only a short post so I won't go in to any great detail at this stage, but in essence the developers have developed an app which utilizes the undocumented API, then submitted it to the AppStore and had it approved by Apple.
The problem now seems to be that Apple is closing the door on this API, and rejecting all apps whether they are new or updates to make them compatible with OS 3.0, and so this will leave most of us out in the cold. I for one know that I have at least 2 or 3 apps currently loaded to my iPhone that will become a victim of Apple's enforcement of what they consider to be the miss-use of their API.
Over the next few weeks I will be trying to find out more about this issue, so if you are a developer reading this post that has fallen foul of this API and Apple's stance, then I would like to here from you, but until then BE WARNED, UPGRADE AT YOUR PERIL!!!

I have had 3.0 for a couple of weeks now (beta testing an app), and haven't noticed any apps not working! Been pretty smooth sailing actually!

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have access to QuadCamera? and if so does this work OK with OS 3.0?

IMPORTANT:
Current QuadCamera ver1.9 doesn't support iPhone OS3.0.
I have sent new version 1.95 that supports OS3.0 to Apple and it is in their review. However, I'm not sure when actually it is out, its on them. I do my best but please be sure, if you are going to upgrade iPhone OS immediately when iPhone OS3.0 is out.

Music, thanks for pointing out the note on the QuadCamera website, which is one app that will not work under OS 3.0.
