When I posted "What does iPhone 3.0 bring to existing iPhoneographers?" and made the comment of nothing, I was wrong. This may only be a small feature, but you can of course select multiple photos from the photo album and share via email or MMS, as well as copy or delete them.
There is also some reports that the camera in existing iPhones takes slightly improved photos, but only time will tell if this is right or wrong.
For a complete run down of the new iPhone OS 3.0 check out this article over at iLounge, and they also have one of the first hands on reviews here.

I would like to see an info "button" on my photo-interface.
Oddly enough... My biggest pet peeve with the iPhone when I purchased it was the lack of MMS... & I want it, want it, want it .... But if I am going to lose many of the Photo apps that I use on a daily basis to do what I do =)
Well then I am unsure if I will update it.... If they are going to literally limit our/my creativity from my already purchased apps then I almost see no reason to even want to support them... Might be harsh but... come on... If you make a living lets say using certain products & then the discontinue them to work with any much needed updates.... You would be livid... So at this moment I can only blame & point my frustrations at Apple !!!
Arrrrr
SCW =)
@Music I second that !!!
Also I think the addition of viewing PNG files as they are & also the transparencies should be standard... Then saving to these as well.
Apple doesn't limit creativity, they have been the pioneers in the creative workflow. This is an example of an API that is no longer valid. Modify your app and resubmit! This affects MANY apps in the app store, not just photo apps. There is also discussion of the app store having a 'split' of apps that are compatible with 2G / 3G hardware and 3GS / future hardware. It is a fact that hardware and code evolves.
Having an API that is so called no longer valid has now in fact cheated & ripped of the previous customers who PAID for these apps in the first play. So if they are now going to claim it is invalid & or restrict the use of an API that was readily used before then in turn they should/MUST refund every customer who purchased an app/game etc that used it for now it is not compatible with their own FORCED OS update.
Refund the hundreds of thousands of customers out of Apples own pocket. For to even think they will take these refunds back from the developers won't slide well since it is NOT the Dev's fault that apple has pulled the plug on this API. So apple can take the hit & loss in funds on this HUGE refund & almost a recall on an API .
Less than impressed !!!
