New iPhone Photo App: PhotoToMac

Wireless transfer of iPhone Camera Roll photos to your Mac!

With PhotoToMac you only need your iPhone and a WiFi connection to your Mac to transfer the photos taken with your iPhone camera in full resolution.

No cable required, no internet connection required, no browser required, no emails with attachments, all you need is a WiFi connection to your Mac.

Setup a shared folder accessible for guest users on your Mac (or use an existing one) and there you go. If you’re not familiar with shared folders and Mac OS X file permissions check out the How To page.

Once the shared folder is configured, start PhotoToMac and choose a Mac from the list.

Note: Because of a limitation in the iPhone SDK, the transferred photos contain no EXIF information (and therefor also no GPS/location information).

Finally!

You don't want to know how many people have been laughing with me because it was always such a hassle (wires or email involved) to get my iPhone photos to my Mac.
These days are over now. This app's just perfect.
A typical app that should have been made by Apple itself.

It's a nice idea, but that EXIF information comes in handy. Good idea for pics that don't need that info though.

Is PhotoToMac free of cost and only for androids?
