Help, how to project your iPhone
Friday, July 31, 2009 at 10:00AM |
Glyn Evans This is slightly off topic, but next year I may be presenting iPhoneography somewhere in the world ;) and will need to output the iPhone screen and apps to a 50" plasma screen, in a similar way to Apple at their keynotes. It looks like Apple use specialist equipment to do this at their keynotes, so does anyone have any suggestions/solutions to this problem for the rest of us?
Please post your suggestions/solutions in the comments section.

iPhone (and many iPods) has TV out support built in, all you need are the cables!

It's called QingBar MP101, an iPhone projector which should be out before next year. http://www.iphonebuzz.com/iphone-dock-projector-is-portable-124219.php
If you grab a copy of the SDK you can pull it up, or you can go through VNC.
Thanks for the suggestions, but unfortunately the AV cables do not output app screens, so it's going to have to be either the SDK option, or maybe some sort of overhead camera set-up.
