3 of my favourite apps just got updates

Today I did a quick refresh of my apps and low and behold 3 of my favourites had updates, with the most notable being support for the higher resolution of the iPhone 3GS, which should please a lot of people.

The 3 apps in question are....

TiltShift updates are:

  • adjustment of color saturation, contrast and brightness.
  • saving of images on iPhone 3GS up to 1536x2048 (2048x1536 in landscape).
  • saving of images on all other devices up to 1200x1600 (1600x1200 in landscape).
  • the gradient parameters will no longer be reset when loading a new image from the camera roll or photo library.

These are some great updates. I was waiting for Photogene to offer the full resolution of the 3GS camera. Thanks for the heads up. I don't check the updates often enough on my own.

Yes! Finally Photogene utilizes the 3GS resolution. About time.

Stripecam from Tandem Systems also got a update this weekend. The App now supports full resolution for the iPhone 3GS, as well as adding a weave setting. The weave setting combines the two previous settings at once(horizontal/vertical).

If, Apple drops a camera in the new iPod Touches this September, I hope the photo Apps with the full resolution features work on this model as well.
