Description from the AppStore: PicPosterous lets you take photos and video on your iPhone and post them instantly on the web. It creates a live connection between your iPhone and the internet, posting your photos online *as you take them*.
- No account needed
- Photos and video upload into albums as you take them
- Photos are scaled and become a fast javascript image gallery
- Video is converted for playback in Safari using flash, and even plays in Mobile Safari using Quicktime
- Uploads are queued and resume if you quit the app and relaunch
- Photos and video are geo tagged. See a location map online next to each album
Optionally register for Posterous.com to:
- Manage multiple sites, including private sites
- Create private albums
- Automatically update your Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and more
- Post to your online site via email from home or work
After taking your first photo at an event, create a new album and name it something, say "Glass blowing in SF". That post will be created online and the first photo you selected will be added.
Now, throughout the day, continue taking photos. Each photo you take can be added to the album you created earlier. The photo will be uploaded to Posterous when you take it, and appended to the image gallery on that post.
When you are done with that event and ready to go home, there's nothing more to do! Your photos and video are already online.
The next time you're at a party, don't wait until you get home to post all your photos. Instead, use PicPosterous to post the photos to a party album *live, as you take them*. You'll be posting more photos than ever before.

Editors comment: Finally a native app for Posterous, giving a real alternative to Tumblr, and one I will now be using for one of my photo projects ;)
