The iPhoneography Showcase of Chris Jensen

Glyn Evans Recently I discovered the idea of using my first generation iPhone to take photos for artistic purposes. Come to find out many others have been doing it for some time now. The limitation of the iPhone camera gives me a great opportunity to capture images and open the eyes of people everyday. I update my iPhone photography blog daily with the latest imagery I have captured.
I love to see the reaction of people and hear comments without them even knowing im around. To me that is the satisfaction and part of the perfection I thrive for.
I have been shooting photographs for thirteen years as a freelance photographer. I specialize in action sports and firefighting of all things. For me the challenge is what keeps me going. Anyone can turn a camera on, focus, and shoot. The camera is only twenty percent of it all. The rest is experience, patents, luck, and creativity. My everyday goal is to capture imagery that most will never get to see and bring it front and center to them.
My iPhone images are shot and effected in the phone. None of the imagery is effected by the use of Photoshop or other software packages. My favorite and most used iPhone applications are CameraBag, Cool fx, Photogene, TiltShift, and Pano.

Nice imagery Chris. I like your philosophy that the camera is only 20%, the rest is you. I put it this way: Your most valued piece of photo equipment is under your hat! Ed
Thanks Ed.
Great photos Chris. Thank you for sharing your stuff. I am constantly learning by all the showcases that are featured here. I only hope that the lessons will sink in. It's fun though.
Give it time and you will do just fine.
