If you liked the review of the "Magnetic/Detachable Wide Angle + Macro Lens for the iPhone, by Scott Nicholson" then you may interested to know that Japanese camera brand Gizmon has just released 2 external lens for iPhone. One is Wide & Macro Lens (like Scott reviewed), and the other is FishEye Lens. Both use the same magnetic attachment as in Scott review, however these new lenses include a small attachment that addresses Scott's initial problem.
"as the included, self-adhesive iron-ring did not sit flush against the tapered edge of the iPhone 3GS, but skewed the detachable lens so that the corner appeared a blurry shadow in the iPhone’s field of view."
If you are interested in these lenses then you can place your orders over at Gizmon's online store.

Now if they just sold the adapter, I'd be a very happy iPhoneographer.
I just stuck one of those Gizmon adapters to my iPhone, but I took a leap of faith and assumed that it can be removed without damaging the iPhone or leaving residue. It does seem to be stuck on pretty darn tight. Has anyone had experience with removing one of these adapters?
