The iPhoneography Showcase of Art Meripol

Glyn Evans I've been a professional travel photographer for the past 20 years, working on staff at Southern Living Magazine, the USA's fifth largest consumer magazine. Before that I worked as a photojournalist for 13 years. Since the magazine requires such a high degree of technical quality, I've embraced the iPhone's camera (I have a first gen still) 'low level' of quality. I then take apps and try to create more etherial images, one's that don't fit the style of the magazine. It has truly re-energized my creative juices in wonderful ways. And to have a camera in my pocket all the time has brought back memories of how it first felt to be a photographer, where anything can become a photograph.
I use Photogene always, CoolFX a fair amount, CameraBag some, iFlashReady occasionally and HDR Camera sometimes.
