Glyn Evans I have been a life long lover of making, taking and viewing images. After a long stint as a working news photojournalist (Newspapers and Wire Services) I moved into interactive media some years ago. I never put down the camera. The images I now shoot have became more personal in nature over time.
After purchasing the iPhone 3Gs in June and I have absotutely fallen in love again. The iPhone's camera and the apps that are offered have absotutely freed me to be creative in the making and the taking of the image. My eyes again are newly opened on how I see and shoot images. Let me tell you, instant creative gratification is a wonderful thing.
The apps I use are Phoptogene, iFlashReady, Cool fx, CameraBag and Polarize. I do not export images out of the phone to process them. Everything is done in the phone with those applications and emailed from the phone to my photoblogs which are joniphone.tumblr.com, and flickr.com/photos/jon_24/.
I call my personal work "random frames" as they are truely random images, largely unplanned, that I capture as I wander through this life.
