New iPhone Photo App: iArt Mosaic

Description from the AppStore: Express your talents and become an i-Artist! IArt Mosaic allows you to create beautifull pictures composed of a mosaic of colorful squares generated via algorithms : choose the picture that will serve as the base of your creation and manipulate it using some of the many options to create a unique result!

Choose your picture within:

• Saved pictures in the photo album of your device,
• Pictures taken with the iPhone build-in camera via the Application,
• 30 integrated sample pictures : sceneries, domestic animals, gradient colors.
• numerous palettes of colors - over 200 - or the swatch option for infinite possibilities

The mosaic appears and grows automatically, but you can pause at any moment by using the ingame interactions interface to take personnaly command of the creation process!

• TOUCH'N GROW: force the mosaic's growth by passing your finger on the screen.
• TOUCH'N CREATE: Create additionnal squares at a precise point by double-taping the screen and keeping the finger pressed will create continuesly.
• SHAKE’N RESET: Shake the device to reset the picture!
• CUSTOM’: Explore the numerous options of creation, that will give you a total control of the generation of the picture.
• SAVE’N SHOW: Save your picture into the device's photo album and use it as a wallpaper or share it with your friends by sending it via email and MMS!

Options description:

• Square collisions: ON/OFF - You decide if the squares can stop growing by colliding or not.
• Number of automatic squares: You decide of the number of the squares automatically generated.
• Maximum size of automatically generated squares: You decide the maximum size of the automatically generated squares.
• Touch’n Create frequency: You decide the apparition frequency of squares under your finger.
• Touch’n Grow speed: You decide the squares growth speed under your finger.
• Speed of squares generation: You decide the frequency of square generation.
• Speed of squares generation growth: You decide the square generation's growth speed.
• Display of a background picture or of a color chosen withing a palette: You decide to display or not a background picture or to replace it with a custom color of your choice.
• Maximum gap between the square's colors and the background original picture: You decide the color gap between the squares and the original picture.
• Display of the square's border and it's color: You decide the display of square's borders and it's color.
• Stop’n Play: You can enter the pause mode at any time and pursue your work of art when you wish.
• Saving your generated picture: You can save your piece of art in the device's photo album and see it at any time without having to launch the App', and even send it to your friends.
• Step by step tutorial: In order to understand all the interactions you will be helped through the creation process via a tutorial.

Humm seems I'm the only one who has bought that App'.

Well, to be honest, the only bad thing about the app is its icon, otherwise all of it is great. It works well and I often make some pictures with it.

A fast google research hleped me find a video for the app, it's a tutorial.
