Flickit gets major update

Flickit the Flickr uploader has just been updated, and now offers the following new features:

  • Twitter and blog integration. Flickit now works with Flickr's blog and Twitter features. If you've configured any blogs or Twitter accounts on Flickr, you can now select them in the photo details panel in Flickit. The photo will automatically be tweeted or blogged to the service you choose after upload.
  • Groups support. If you're a member of any groups, Flickit now gives you the option of select one or more groups that the photo will be added to after upload.
  • Full image resolution on the iPhone 3GS. The maximum resolution for photos was previously 1200 x 1600. 1.2 now has the option to upload at full resolution.

Could this free app which got my "recommended" award back in February when I reviewed it, now be the best Flickr uploader?  Well I think it is.

Same here, I was shocked that the flickr native app that was just recently release wasn't as good as this app. Flickit still rules as the best upload app.

Would be the best Flickr app out there.
But big shortcoming is still the lack of ability to use the geolocation data stored in the exif of the picture itself. For this reason only I often stick with "Mobile Fotos" when I want people to discover where the picture was taken.
