Description from the AppStore: Have you ever wondered what goes on when you're not around? Ever wanted to take a picture of someone without looking suspicious? Ever wanted to capture a time lapse video of anything you can point your phone at? Now you can with SpyCam.
SpyCam uses the iPhone's camera to take pictures at set intervals, then allows your to quickly browse through every frame and save the best (or most incriminating) to your personal photos.
Features:
- Takes photos continuously or at intervals
- Capture spy sessions or time lapses for hours
- Quickly browse through your captured images
- Save directly to your photos application on the iPhone
Note: Spy Cam uses iPhone hard drive space to store photos temporarily, freeing this space when you exit the app.

I decided to try this app because of the described abilty to save to memory and shoot continuously. Here is a copy of the review I posted on the App store. I'm not sure why this app is called spy cam as there is nothing really covert about it. I purchased this because I hoped the continuous mode would offer a sort of fast action camera for my 3g. The app uses the phones memory as a temporary hard drive to save the full resolution images. You can then choose which images you want to save to your camera roll. The nice thing I can say about this app is that the images are full res on a 3g, I don't have a 3gs to know if it is the same for it, but that's about it. For the not so good, continuous shooting equates to about 8 seconds between shots. Viewing the resulting images is very slow and inconvenient due to the UI. While the camera is operating, you can see the images it is capturing. So much for the spy part. The name and icon will attract the curious that may have access to your phone. Now for what i think this app needs. It needs to be much faster in both shooting/saving and viewing of the pre saved images. I suggest an option to lower image resolution to allow for faster shooting similar to ReplayCam which allows times as low as .1 seconds between shots. The UI that allows the user to select an image should work as the photos app works allowing swipes to view the previous or next image. If this is supposed to be a covert camera as the name implies, the screen should remain dark when shooting, and allow for the user to tap anywhere to end shooting. The time length adjuster is a slider that is too sensitive on the low range to allow for accurate adjustment. A save complete indicator would also be useful in helping to prevent the user from exiting before the image is saved. The icon should be changed and the corresponding name should be abbreviated if the author really wants this to be a "Spycam". This is a full resolution, but slow time lapse app. If that's not what you are looking for, I would pass on this app for the reasons I've stated above. If the developer improves this app, I will update my review.
Let me try this again.

@rduatc. Thanks for the feedback on this app.
Thats a really cool trick. But do you really think that people who have purchased iPhone which really use it for spying purpose? I think their basic motive is to use the phone.
People who are worried about this sort of thing need to relax. This guy definitely sounds like he is just upset because Pinch can identify all of his cracked apps.
