This one looks really good... Sad there was no editor's comments. Really hoping for a review for this one. Looks much better than camera plus pro
Would be fantastic if they add... "Anti-Shake".
I wonder why developers forget to add this to the photography apps, try a app with it... and then without and you will see why its a great addition to a iphone photography app for perfect clear image capture.
This would be one were "Anti-Shake" would be perfect!!!
I'm tempted to pick this one up before the review because I get a strange feeling the sale will end once that comes out. Then again, these guys made that makeover app which looks pretty terrible.
Ok, well I picked up like 10 seconds ago, haven't even taken a photo and already ran into a big issue; you can't import photos from your library, just your camera roll, which just made this app 98% useless to me, grrr. Slow startup too, sadly I'm lead to believe that nothing will ever work as well as the native camera
So still no review? I've been playing with it and it's not that terrible of an app to be honest. It's a great idea to have the plethora of features this app has but it doesn't make the greatest use of them. For example, I would really like to have the ability to see where you are on the map in comparison to where photos were taken for reference. It's also too bad that this thing doesn't save all your camera settings, whenever I need to take a fast pic I'm hindered by having to bring up the settings and reselect the big button option. It does however save your photo effect options (Portrait, backlit, etc) BUT doesn't allow you to apply any of these settings to photos already in the camera roll. I like having the edits applied beforehand and view the comparison but why can't I edit photos already taken?
This app has amazing potential but these guys look like they were in a rush and released a first draft as opposed to a fully revised final draft.
I give it a 3 out of 5, will definitely raise that once they add these features:
-Import from camera roll AND library.
-If they add the library option then I would hope they also add an ability to search within google maps to geotag those photos since EXIF data doesn't sync to your library.
-Preserve camera settings on startup. i.e. big button, multi-shot, etc. Not just effects.
-Allow photo effects to be added AFTER image is taken as well.
Fix those and I'll add some stars! :)
I'm with you Leon. I have 3165 photos all with windows keytags in my photo library and this program will not import even the photos. Would not mind if I had to sit down and re-keyword but no, iPhonography will only work on new photos in camera roll. Never fear Leon, it might be 98% useless to you but it is 100% useless to me!
