Spica meets Pro HDR: The 11:32 from St Pancras

Following on from my post earlier today, here is another example of how two apps can work together to create a unique look.

The 11:32 from St Pancras

Just as with Rudolph the wired Reindeer, I blended the original colour photo with one given the Spica treatment in Pro HDR, to come up with this mashed up look.

If you look closely at the photo, you can see the figure is black and white, the train is colour, whilst the roof is a mixture of both.

Very 3-D like. I've been mashing photo's up with Pro HDR for awhile and you can get some great pics with it. You can get some great pics with Cross Process and Vintage BW with Pro HDR.

Unfortunately Pro HDR won't run on my iPhone 3G, however, I have been using Iris Photo Suite to layer my images. Iris is about as close to having the full capabilities of Adobe Photoshop CS5 on my iPhone that I've found. Are there any other advanced photo editing apps that feature layers and blend modes?

This one is so cool! I used the same method for "Waiting for the Ghost" http://bit.ly/9Qg1nH. The original picture was taken with Pro HDR. Then i processed one image with PictureShow (one of my favorite apps), an other one with ArtistaOil. Then i put the two together again using the library function of Pro HDR.

How is the blurred train itself been done on an iPhone? Is it a combination of 2 pics in Pro HDR or a shutterspeed/blur app?
