Iris Photo Suite has just been updated, but based on a recent comment here on the blog, it looks like loading a photo from the iPhone camera roll may be slightly hidden away.
Anyway, thanks to ready @Butow, here is what you need to do to load a photo.
- Klick on the arrow in the bottom right
- Then click "open/save"
- Then "new"
- Then "library"
Hope this helps.
So what is new in this latest release?
- Improved Application Lauch time.
- Introducing Color Replacement feature in "Color Sense" : Repaint the world with your imagination!!!!
- 18 New Textures.
- Improved Crop UI, with ability to add custom crop ratios.
- Improved Masking tool: added ability to zoom while painting the mask. Brush Size is automatically adjusted to match the zoom.
- Added options to upload images to Facebook/Twitter.
- Fixed Bug that caused crash in iPhone 4, when using reset switches in Shadows/Highlights.

Woohoo! This is currently my first stop app. I can't wait to check out the update. Thanks!
it would appear that the update also includes full res when applying textures, which wasn't possible in the earlier version. at least this is so for iPhone 3Gs.
full res for textures is also confirmed on the iPhone4
Did you guys try the "Color Replacement" feature of Color Sense??? Works really well!!
Found a lot of tweaks in this update that make editing a pleasing experience!
Really liked the ability to mask the last action, makes the workflow simple and easy to use!..
Also the crop has been given a facelift!, has option to specify custom ratio..... Nice Update!!!
