Editors comments: This isn't the first app that promises to fix the colour spot that can be sometimes be seen on photos taken with the iPhone, but it is the first one I have bought and tested. The app itself corrects these colour spot problems really well, but there is a but, and it's a real big one.
The App
The app is real easy to use, simply launch, open the photo that you want to remove the colour spot from, and then use the slider control to adjust the size of the on-screen circle so that the colour spot falls inside the circle, then hit OK and have the app auto-correct the spot, before hitting save.
So what do I think of Camera Spot Fix?
The app is surprisingly easy to use, and the colour fix is spot on, however all this does not make up for the low-res out put that is a substandard 800 x 1072 pixels, which makes this app all but useless.
Above: The original photo with colour spot can be seen on the left, whilst the Camera Spot Fix version is on the right.
As this app currently stands, I can not recommend it, however if the dev resolves the low-res issue, then I would have not hesitation in giving this app 5 stars.

With the low resolution issue with the app is a real deal breaker, also I do see some kinds of spiraling circle effect added to the image after it is completed and viewed at 100%
I find using Iris to get rid of the blue tint so much more easy and keeps image size correct, call up the image or what ever shot then use the FX selection, then select color sense.
That's it, image is fixed.
Give it a try!!!
Could you explain how you use Iris to remove the blue spot.
Thank you so much for your help.
