Later today at around 6PM GMT Apple will release iOS 4.2 for the iPad, iPhone & iPod touch, and with it, bring the long awaited Multitasking, Folders, Unified Inbox and Game Center to the iPad, as well as AirPlay and AirPrint to iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
Whilst these are all welcomed new features, as with all past iOS updates, the iPhoneography blog recommends you upgrade with caution, as not all iPhone and iPad photo apps are confirmed as being compatible with iOS 4.2.
As usual the iPhoneography blog will try and keep you updated on the apps that work, and those that don't, but if you do brave the update path, then please feel free to add the names of those apps that work, and those that fail to the comments of this post.

Good.
iFlashready is saving with 960x717 on iPhone 4 iOS4.2.1 :-(
I havent used it for ages so i am not sure if its the update from today. Just wondered how fast it saved. Thats why i checked the resolution.
Updated successfully. Having fun playing with new iOS, though don't see big difference yet:) What about you?
One interesting (may be undocumented) feature with iOS 4.2 is that iPhone/iPod apps now can import/export images beyond 640 resolution even when run on an iPad. That might be a good news for many of us since with iOS 3.2 the max resolution of iPhone apps running on iPad was limited to 640.
