App Update: Phoster

Phoster the universal poster creation app has just been updated.
So what's new?
- High Resolution (1448 x 2048) is available only with iPhone4, iPod touch 4G, iPhone3GS, iPad (Not all features are compatible with all devices)
- Fixed Templates initializing bug on iPad OS 3.2
- Facebook, Twitter account sign-out available.
Whilst the update has fixed the iPad initialization bug introduced with the last update, sadly this version is not without its bugs. Again only on the iPad version, some of the templates are oversized and obscure other templates!!

I just bought this app as it looked a good way of generating poster and flyer layouts. What I didn't realise however is that the layout and other options are incredibly restricted. For example:
1. You can't move a text block
2. You can't add extra text blocks
3. You cant change the typeface
4. You can't freely position your images, even though the app description claims you can - they just seem to re-centre after scaling
Also although the increase in resolution is welcome it is only really useful for anything A4 or smaller - certainly not posters! This should be addressed by providing PDF export; something the developer needs to seriously consider in the next update.
